Marla is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for the Delta Asset Management division of Berkeley Capital Management LLC. Marla joined Berkeley in 2004, but had previously been part of Delta since 1998. Marla works with Carl Goldsmith, CIO, in structuring the portfolio based on their macro environment analysis. The majority of Marla’s time is spent on fundamental company research of Core Equity portfolio securities or of potential candidates for inclusion. Marla has over 13 years of investment industry experience.
Prior to joining Delta in 1998, Marla previously served as an Equity Portfolio Manager with Farmers Insurance Group in 1995 and Analyst at ARCO Investment Management Company in 1991. Her prior financial services experience included a position as Assistant Vice President with Security Pacific Corporate Banking Group.
Marla is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a BA in Economics. She also holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts.
